"Speak It! Sing It!", a music and poetry variety show, begins an exciting new chapter as the series moves to the homes of artists who recognize its value! Our first house show comes with a potent lineup. Shaheen Dibai returns with soul-baring, thought-provoking poetry. Anna Spackman, a favorite of our series, once again brings her intelligent and heartfelt poetry and music. John Logue III, who has captivated us with his edgy-yet-charming poetry, performs both poetry and music for the first time in this series. Dana K. Fiero, formerly of da(Y)ma and a staple of my Lickety Split shows, makes her "Speak It! Sing It!" debut with her melodic and lyrically direct songcraft.

Anna is one of the finalists at the Philly Rising's annual showcase!
Philly Rising is World Cafe Live's weekly Open Stage and progressive Talent Competition, hosted by Boy Wonder at Upstairs Live on Monday Nights. The top performers are invited back on the following month, where they have a chance to perform at the Philly Rising Monthly Showcase .
After a full year, all 12 of the Philly Rising monthly winners compete in the annual Philly Rising Yearly Showcase on the main stage in Downstairs Live.
