Feeling so grateful for the reminders of all the love in my life on this snowy, quiet birthday. The moments of reaching each other across the distance are powerful.
In honor of love’s companion, grief, I wanted to put out some new music that came from our recent loss. Shawn and I both took refuge in music as we each processed our grief around losing Chloe, and we hope that our songs can offer that refuge for anyone else navigating grief and loss this year.
My song “Overflow” was built around a quotation that felt like it captured my experience perfectly: “grief is love with nowhere to go.”
